Darius Fisher is the CEO, President and co-founder of Status Labs, a premier online reputation management and public relations firm with offices in Austin, New York, Los Angeles, and Sao Paulo. Status Labs serves over 1,500 clients in 35 countries, including Fortune 500 brands, CEOs, politicians, athletes, and other public figures. As CEO, Fisher created the strategic vision of the company, built partnerships with agencies and influencers, and recruited their domestic and international sales and account management teams. Prior to co-founding Status Labs, Fisher worked as a political consultant and copywriter. Fisher graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University.
Jesse is an internet marketer with an unhealthy obsession with SEO, social media marketing, running, and his Spotify starred list (8,000 songs and growing). Based in NYC, he has a cat named Gracie and fights a constant battle with a major sweet tooth.
Lacy is a native Floridian that uses her Masters in Advertising and background in PR, marketing and branding to produce valuable press coverage and consult clients in crises. When she’s not correcting grammar, strategizing campaigns or updating her font collection, she can be found outside. She enjoys exploring Texas by foot and kayak with her husband and dog, and snuggling her (unwilling) chickens.
Dana has enjoyed growing with the Status Labs SEO team for almost 3 years. With a background in theatre and communications, she loves the creative aspects of tackling ORM projects, as well as working closely with each of our talented SEO team members. Never without a kombucha or Topo Chico on her desk, she also enjoys yoga, scary movies, and musicals.
Alexa moved to Austin from New York City, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Alexa enjoys the beach (shout out to Siesta Key), Americana music, thrifting, her two cats, people watching, running and Seinfeld. She is an Aquarius.
Clair is our Director of Culture. After graduating from the University of Texas, she joined the Status Labs team to kick start her professional writing career and has grown with us over the years into a role that is hands-on with the whole company through training, recruiting and event planning. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she loves the Royals and the Chiefs, and when she isn’t at the office, you can find her fueling her addiction to sweets or running off energy around Town Lake.
Nick works out of our New York office, helping to develop the team’s internal operations and taking on both internal and external projects. Nick is originally from Webster, NY, and graduated from the University at Albany. Prior to joining Status Labs, Nick worked for FanDuel and helped contribute to one of this decade’s biggest startup growth success stories. Nick is a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Grateful Dead. Rock on!
Spencer is a Business Development Director at Status Labs and heads up the company’s west coast operations from sunny Los Angeles. Prior to joining Status Labs, he was a Digital Strategist at Weber Shandwick in New York City. Spencer graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BS in Human and Organizational Development, and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership.
Outside of the office, Spencer can be found reading dystopian novels, replacing divots on the golf course, rooting on the Mets (ya gotta believe!) and learning how to live that SoCal lifestyle.
Anglyn grew up in Southern California and attended San Diego State University, where she earned a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. After working a few years she realized it was time for a change, so she decided to leave the beach behind to find her place in the Live Music Capital of the World – Austin, TX. Anglyn comes to Status Labs with over 7 years of digital marketing experience, having managed SEO campaigns in both the tech and legal industries.
When Anglyn is not at work, she is busy taking barre classes, visiting friends and family across the country, or browsing Yelp for the latest places to eat and drink.
Michael graduated from the University of Texas and loves his Longhorns. When he’s not competing in some team sport, he’s probably reading a book and enjoying a cup of coffee.

A native Texan and graduate of the University of North Texas, David was commissioned as an officer in the Air Force and stationed in Japan and Texas. He spent his 20’s traveling to the world’s scariest places as a C-130 navigator. David transitioned to the civilian world, first as an account exec for Siemens Industry and is now at home in Austin at Status Labs. When not in the office, David enjoys a room with a view, a well made cocktail, and exploring the world with his wife Bex, his daughter Lulu, and his metal detector Frank.
Rob Graduated from Utah State University with a degree in history, and commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force. While in the military, he completed over 130 combat missions as an Instructor Navigator on C-130’s, and traveled the world to over 46 countries including some of the world’s scariest places. After leaving the military, he moved to Texas to start his career in Account Management where he now calls Status Labs home. When he isn’t in the office, you can find him in his garage working in his woodshop, taking to the skies to indulge in his love for flying, or traveling the world with his wife Dani, his son Max, and his dog. Rob say’s his favorite things in life are Lego’s, movies, and Airplanes.
With a degree from the of the University of San Diego, Courtney traded politics for public relations, and joined Status Labs in 2014.
When she’s not busy landing earned media placements for clients, she enjoys lifting heavy things, sewing, spending time with her boyfriend and their four dogs and six chickens.
Bailey grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She became simultaneously disagreeable to the cold and fond of traveling, which lead her all over Asia and India before she finally settled in Austin, TX. She has worked in a sales capacity in the tech industry for three years before finding a home at Status Labs.
When Bailey isn’t at work, she is practicing yoga, or researching the best place in town for dinner and drinks.
Laura Jaffee is a Business Development Director based in New York City. Prior to Status Labs, she was a top sales performer and manager at SinglePlatform. Originally from Westchester, New York, Laura graduated from Barnard College with a BA in American Studies. Outside of work, Laura can be found exploring the City’s best food and fitness scenes.
Mary is naturally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and moved to NY in 2014 looking for the lights, chaos and the opportunities only the Big Apple can offer. With over eight years experience in marketing and project management- mostly in the fashion and arts fields- she joined Status Labs to embrace a new challenge: managing online reputation projects of all kinds of clients.
When Mary is not at work she is probably practicing vinyasa yoga or looking for a new variation of it. Dogs, sunny (and hot) days, art and chocolate are her passions.
Jack Michelman is an Account Manager at Status Labs and leads the new acquisition efforts of the company, building strategic partnerships and managing relationships with agencies, partners, influencers, and clients. Prior to joining Status Labs, he was a leading coordinator in the motion picture, television and digital departments at Creative Artists Agency. He is based in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
Bear works out of our Austin, TX office and specializes in the managing of accounts. Bear has lived in more places than he can count and attended nearly as many colleges. Prior to joining Status Labs, Bear spent time working in the media and digital content world for FOX Sports, NFL Media, CBS Television Distribution, Paramount Pictures, MTV and FanDuel.
Jenny graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Public Relations and a Business Foundations certificate from the McCombs School of Business. When she’s not busy being a PR rockstar, this Texas native can be found petting strangers’ puppies, gracing her roommates ears with beginner piano jingles, run-walking, and cheering on her beloved longhorns.
Evelin Batista is our Director of Sales & Operations responsible for the Latin America team and business development. A native Brazilian, Evelin has over 13 years experience in Communications and prior joining Status Labs was Account Director at Y&R São Paulo. She works out of both New York and Brazil. She has built strong corporate client relationships and partnerships in Latin America in name of Status Labs.
Outside of work, Evelin enjoys exploring NYC’s cultural scene and best food and planning her next trip around the world.
Kaitlin graduated from Baylor University with a BA in Journalism. After graduation, she moved to Colorado where she gained experience working in both a Public Relations agency and an in-house firm. After a few years, she moved back to her hometown Austin, TX where she continued to thrive in the PR industry.
When she is not securing valuable media placements, Kaitlin enjoys finding fun new places to eat and drink around town, seeing live music, geeking out on a good history documentary, and hiking around the greenbelt with her two dogs Prudence and George.
Kayla relocated to Austin in 2015 after leaving the hospitality industry in Telluride, Colorado. At Status Labs she brings forward her communication and marketing skills as a specialist on the Operations team. Outside of work you can find her on the road or in the mountains.
Daniel is a graduate of Ohio University, where he also played baseball for the Bobcats. He has been working with different websites, focusing on internet marketing, SEO and content, for over eight years.
Currently based in Orlando, Florida, he enjoys staying active in sports and trying to still be halfway decent at piano.
Dani graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with a BS in Business Administration. She is originally from Kentucky (Go CATS) where she started her online marketing and SEO career with the Kentucky World Trade Center in Louisville. Before joining Status Labs she also worked as a photographer in Little Rock, an English tutor in Japan and finished up her schooling in Montpellier, France.
Dani enjoys traveling to far-flung destinations, finding ways to incorporate unicorn-adorned accessories into her wardrobe, Moscow Mules, thrifting and taking way too many pictures of her dog, Rocco.
Claire is a native Texan who attempts to navigate the excitement of the ”Austin scene”…but usually she gets too tired and decides to just unwind with friends instead. She enjoys outings with coworkers, listening to live music and keeping it pretty chill.
Kate moved to Austin from Charlottesville, Virginia to attend the University of Texas at Austin. A recent graduate, she is excited to be a part of the Status Labs team. Outside of work, she’s usually spending time with friends, trying to get out more, and talking to anyone who will listen about her blind cat, Sandra Dee.
Steve was born and raised in the Northwest part of Houston Texas. After attending the University of Texas, he decided that the city of Austin would be his permanent home. His love for dogs and technology has flourished thanks to his extensive history from working with major tech companies like Apple Inc., to owning his own dog training company. When he’s not on a hike with his dogs, he is regularly seen on a volleyball court or enjoying the amazing food selection that Austin has to offer.
Jenna was raised in the concrete jungle of downtown Houston, Texas. She cultivated a healthy love for the city of Austin during her studies at University of Texas, where she graduated with a BS in Government and Religious Studies. She brings a diverse professional history with her to Status Labs, having previously working as a Legislative Aide and a Quality Assurance Analyst.
Jenna craves avocado and sunshine daily, and her best friend is a 15 year old (healthy) Shih Tzu named Mister Patch. On the weekend, she’s either listening to music somewhere obscure, or watching cheesy Hallmark specials with her Grandma.
Patrick is native Chicagoan and has lived in Austin for the past seven years. He graduated from Valparaiso University with degree in Art and Design. He is passionate about creativity and finds the time everyday to make something new.
When he is not hard at work you can find Patrick biking around town, traveling and seeking outlets for his creativity.
Cullen is an SEO specialist based in Austin. A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, he has lived in Austin for four years and came to Status Labs to continue a career in the digital sphere.
Cullen is highly interested in photography and videography, traveling often to experience and capture different landscapes, cities and art. He writes and builds websites freelance as well.
Andy works out of the New York office as a member of our Digital Marketing team. Originally from England, Andy moved to New York after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University.
Prior to joining Status Labs, Andy worked alongside Jesse Boskoff and Nick Sharp at FanDuel, where he contributed to one of the largest marketing budgets in the country.
In his spare time, Andy can be found attempting to learn guitar, and rooting on/complaining about the New York Jets — Sorry Andy.
Ross Greenberg has had a passion for Digital Reputation Management ever since he graduated from the University of Arizona. After enjoying a successful career at Yelp and most recently Reputation.com, Ross joined Status Labs in an effort to help expand their operation into the West Coast.
Although residing in LA, Ross stays true to his Texas roots by always rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and dining at the nearest taco food truck.
Mitch is originally from Huntington Beach, California, and moved to NYC shortly after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Mathematics. Mitch is a huge Notre Dame Football and Dodgers fan, and if you start a movie quote he can probably finish it. Two cats, Coco and Tupac, allow him to stay in their apartment.
James has 4 years experience in Sales and Account Management, working at Groupon in Chicago for 3 years in Business Development as well as developing sales strategy for an interactive software startup. Originally from Houston but spent most of his childhood in Lagos, Nigeria and Islamabad, Pakistan. This experience gives him a worldly perspective when working with clients all across the globe. He still loves to travel internationally any chance he can. Other hobbies include exploring Austin via bicycle in search of the perfect deli sandwich, attempting to learn every Motown song on guitar and solving Lone Star beer bottle cap puzzles.
Charlie is one of our dedicated account managers with 10+ years in customer service under his belt. A true Texan — he is a lifelong fan of the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, but also bleeds burnt orange for his alma mater.
Where is Charlie when he’s not in the office hard-at-work keeping clients happy? You’ll probably find him cycling around Austin, kayaking down Lady Bird, playing basketball in the park, lost in a good book, or pursuing his aspirations in the field of juvenile literature.
Dylan works out of Status Labs’ New York office. Prior to joining Status Labs, Dylan managed the Customer Support team at FanDuel for 5+ years. A native New Englander, Dylan is always happy to chat about Tom Brady, Bill Belichick or Big East basketball.
Esther is a Texas native and graduate of The University of Texas. Prior to joining Status Labs, Esther co-founded a photo and video production company and worked in the start up industry. When she’s not SEO backlinking, you can find her outside hiking, climbing, camping, and tending to her chickens.
Brittney is a born and raised Texas enthusiast. She graduated from UTSA where she earned a B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.
Brittney leverages her skills in media outreach, content creation, research, and coordinating projects with the Status Labs SEO team. She enjoys traveling, reading, caffeine, and cat naps.
Scott Shay joins Status Labs’ New York team as Operations Manager where he will oversee the execution of special projects and major company initiatives including key accounts and content marketing strategy. Previously, Shay was a Social Media Marketing Manager at FanDuel for five years.
Robert began his Texas tour growing up in the southwest part of Houston before attending The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he earned a Bachelors in Communication. After spending four years in San Antonio he made his way to Austin, Texas. When he isn’t lighting up the office with his charisma, you can find him at some of Austin’s local watering holes or hitting the streets in search of live music.
Avery has lived in Austin, Texas for the past 4 years. He grew up all over North Texas, moving from Richardson to Plano. In Austin, Avery studied Radio-Television-Film, with a focus in podcasting at The University of Texas at Austin. When he has finished all his work for the day, he enjoys biking, camping, and going to the First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas every month.
Rachel is a Houston-native and a proud member of Status Labs’ operations team. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she took classes in as many departments as she could find. After studying abroad in London, Rachel enjoys BBC shows and a strong cup of black tea. She settled into the rhetoric and writing department and wrote her senior thesis on the rhetoric of sketch comedy. Rachel enjoys puns and her cat Peanut- and hopes this does not give anyone paws.
Sara works on the Business Development team discovering and engaging new clientele with clear insight of our goals and services. After graduating from the University of Kansas, with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Communication Studies, Sara traded in her ruby red slippers for a pair of western boots and made her way down to Texas. Outside of the office, you’ll find her out and about in Austin hiking the hill country, laying out at Barton Springs, visiting a local winery or brewery, stretching out at yoga, or tasting new flavors from the rotating food trucks.
